Attendance

North Kansas City Schools believes that regular attendance at school is important. In fact, research has demonstrated a correlation between good attendance and the likelihood of good academic progress. However, it is recognized that there are occasions when it is necessary that a student be absent from school all or part of the day. Students must stay home when sick only if they have had vomiting, a fever or diarrhea in the past 24 hours. 

When your student will be absent, please call the attendance line at (816) 321-5092 to report the absence.

To request student records, a records request form may be sent through fax, or emailed to our administrative assistant at colin.mcclatchey@nkcshools.org
